Haddon Fields

Haddon Fields (HF) is owned by the Woodland Trust (WT) and their policy is to work with local people within their communities. Friends of Haddon Fields (FoHF) was established for the purpose of liaising with WT to ensure that Haddon Fields is managed and used by the Clipston community.

KWCB Grant was provided for the purchase of Stock proof fencing to facilitate the planting and growth of trees in Haddon Fields as the fields are grazed by sheep for 8 months of the year. Gates were also required for access to allow maintenance.

Thirty Four trees had been ordered by people in the village, over half of them were Oaks and a lot of Maple and a few Birch. All the trees were over 1.5m tall.

Each one was planted by the donor(s) and a wooden tag with a personal, laser etched, inscribed dedication attached to their tree.
